PDFs don’t meet accessibility standards – for example, they are not be accessible to screen reader software operating within the browser. PDFs are instead available via a download link.

We will seek to make our PDFs accessible where possible, as the technology used on our site develops in future.

In the interim we will use MS Word docx documents for all new content in place of PDFs.
