Summary

A Civil/Structural Engineer, having a multi-disciplinary teaching, research, management and practical experience, of over 30 years. Extensive teaching experience in various formats and organisations.  Research interests include earthquake risk assessment, seismic vulnerability assessment, seismic evaluation of structures, and seismic strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. Industrial work includes design of residential, commercial, industrial buildings, highway bridges, design of irrigation structures, feasibility analysis and inspection of projects.

  • PhD, Structural Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK 2011
  • Eng., Structural Engineering, University of Calgary, Canada 2002
  • Sc. Civil Engineering, Military College of Engineering, Pakistan 1993

Responsibility

Dr. Shaukat is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at ͯÑÕÊÓƵ London School at NCUT in Beijing, China. His duties are mainly teaching different subjects in the Civil Engineering Area.
